Ted's Air Conditioning was founded in 1966 by Tillman Ted Neal and Robert Karber as Ted's Air Conditioning Located in Fort Smith Arkansas.
 In 1982 the company was incorporated as Ted's Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Heating, Inc. Ted's remains a family owned business built on Christian principles.
Our customer base encompasses 100 miles in all directions from Fort Smith, serving residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
Ted's offers service contracts to both residential and commercial customers. Ted's scope of expertise is in installation and service of HVACR equipment including air conditioning, refrigeration, heating equipment, gas furnaces, heat pumps, chillers, boilers , icemakers for commercial use, humidifiers, electronic air cleaners, electronic thermostats, sheet metal fabrication, Duct Cleaning and natural gas line Installation.

Keeping It Local with Ted's Air Conditioning & Heating
If there is anything that we have learned from the recent economic recession, it is that the local community must take care of itself, especially when times are most dire. As the federal and state governments always seem to cut from the budgets of the people, and never of the bureaucracy, it is not only a responsibility, but a financial imperative to support local causes and businesses, to keep the resources of our community inside our community, helping our community.
 Of course, this sentiment is nothing if not acted upon first and foremost by the bearers of the news. This is why Ted's Air Conditioning is leading the prerogatiive as a business dedicated not only to providing the best service for the community, but also to returning resources back to the people who keep us here.
Ted's has taken an active role in community partnership through sponsorship of the Partner in Education program run by our local school board, and as a local family run business, will continue to put resources to work in the local community. We obtain our supplies from other local companies, and our culture encourages our employees to buy local.
Ted's also encourages other local businesses to partner with each other in a similar effort, as we are all in this together. Buying outside of the community costs more in the long run, and we as business leaders now hold a dual function as civic leaders, too. Private businesses are often called upon now to help maintain civic functions, when it should be the other way around.
